An autism assessment isn’t a test that your child passes or fails.
It’s a way of understanding your child more deeply.
It’s a way of understanding your child more deeply.
At Sensibus, we see assessment as a process of listening, observing, and making sense of a child’s experiences, strengths, and needs – alongside their family.
We gather information from:
- Parents and carers, who know their child best
- Direct observation and interaction with your child
- A multidisciplinary team trained in communication, interaction, sensory processing, and development
We focus on how your child experiences the world – including:
- How they communicate (in all forms)
- How they play and connect with others
- How sensory experiences affect them
- What helps them feel safe, regulated, and understood
The aim is not to change who your child is.
The aim is to understand who they are.
The aim is to understand who they are.
For some families, this leads to an autism diagnosis.
For others, it brings clarity and a clearer sense of support needs.
Either way, it’s about helping your child feel better understood.

As a neuroaffirming, autistic‑led service, we respect autism as a natural part of human diversity.
Our role is to help families understand, advocate, and feel confident moving forward – gently, respectfully, and at your pace.
